Nordic/Baltic Journal of ICT

Within the NORDICT network we will publish an electronic ICT journal, which will be sent to the network members, including the ICT industry and universities/research institutions. The journal goes beyond the daily events and gives analysis of the major trends and tendencies in the ICT development. The journal will be both theoretical and empirical with focus on the ICT development in the Nordic/Baltic countries. The reason for this is that there is a special Nordic/Baltic approach to the problem.

The themes relevant to this journal are general ICT problems/questions, including network, application, and services with focus on telecom related issues, as there is already a number of IT focused journals. The journal will have a publication of 2 /4 times a year.

The contributors are from universities as well as industry. The publication will contribute to improvement of cooperation between research at universities and industry and consequently to creation of innovation systems in the Nordic/Baltic areas
